The District 202 community will have the opportunity to attend holiday music concerts at all four high schools in December. Each school's music department is organizing events featuring performances by bands and choirs.
At Plainfield North High School, bands and choirs will perform their Holiday Collage Concert at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the school auditorium at 12005 S. 248th Ave., Plainfield. Admission is free, with donations accepted to support the school's music groups.
Plainfield East High School will host its Holiday Collage Concert on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 3 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place in the school auditorium located at 12001 S. Naperville Road, Plainfield. "The program will feature all curricular bands and choirs as well as chamber ensembles in an uninterrupted collage format." The concert is free.
According to data from the Illinois Report Card for the 2019-2020 school year, Plainfield East High School served grades nine through twelve with an enrollment of 2,162 students and is located in Plainfield within Will County (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). The student body was composed of approximately 42 percent white students, nearly 16 percent black students, about 26 percent Hispanic students, and roughly 11 percent Asian students (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
At Plainfield South High School, the annual Holiday Collage Concert is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025, with performances at 5:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m., held in the school auditorium at 7800 W. Caton Farm Road, Plainfield. The event includes curricular bands and choirs along with extracurricular ensembles in a continuous performance format. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door; seating is general admission.
Plainfield High School – Central Campus will present its annual Holiday Collage Concert on Saturday, December 13, 2025, with shows at both 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., held in the auditorium at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield. Attendees are advised to park near the stadium and enter through Door G; admission is free.
These concerts offer local residents a chance to enjoy seasonal music performed by area high school students.
