The Plainfield Area Public Library is organizing a mini-golf fundraiser called "Putt Across America" to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The event will take place on February 1, 2026, and features a themed course that highlights various American landmarks such as Route 66, the Grand Canyon, and the Statue of Liberty.
The fundraiser aims to support library programs and services. Tickets for the event are priced at $10 each and include access to an 18-hole mini-golf course, a photo booth, entertainment, snacks, and other activities. Tickets will be available for purchase starting January 5 through Eventbrite and must be bought in advance. Spectators are welcome, but tickets will not be sold at the event.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for those interested in supporting the fundraiser or donating raffle prizes. Inquiries can be directed to Tracey Lane at traceylane@papl.info.
