The upcoming April 2025 Consolidated Election will feature five seats on the Library Board. On April 1, 2025, voters will decide on candidates for four positions with 4-year terms and one position with a 2-year term. Information about the candidates will be available in January 2025.

In the 2022-23 school year, 68.4% of Central Elementary School students failed the mathematics portion of the IAR test, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.
