Sam Amponsah records 4 tackles in McKendree’s win over Southwest Baptist

On Saturday, October 12, Sam Amponsah, a former standout Plainfield East High School athlete, contributed to the McKendree Bearcats’ 37-to-14 win over the Southwest Baptist Bearcats.

Amponsah is a 6’0’ 250-pound Redshirt graduate student and defensive end.

He recorded four tackles and one sack, helping the McKendree Bearcats control the Southwest Baptist Bearcats offense.

McKendree’s football team is a NCAA DII team that plays in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
