District 202 will offer the PSAT/NMSQT test to all current 11th grade students at Plainfield East High School in October. The test is optional and requires a fee. Students interested in taking the exam can download the registration form or pick one up in the Student Services office. The deadline to submit the completed form is Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Plainfield East High School serves grades 9 through 12 and had an enrollment of 2,162 students during the 2019-2020 school year, according to the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). Of these students, about 24 percent were in grade 11 (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/School.aspx?schoolid=560992020220004), which is the group eligible for this test opportunity.

The school has a diverse student body, with approximately 42.3 percent white students, 15.7 percent black students, 25.9 percent Hispanic students, and 10.7 percent Asian students as reported by the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/School.aspx?schoolid=560992020220004).
