Plainfield East High School has issued several reminders to families as preparations for the 2025-26 school year continue.
Registration materials were due on July 24. The administration is asking those who have not yet submitted these documents to turn them in to the Student Services office as soon as possible.
Freshmen physicals and senior meningitis immunizations are required by August 1 and must be submitted before students can begin classes. The school urges families to provide the necessary health information to the nurse’s office promptly, stating: "We don't want your child to be delayed starting school."
Student schedules will become available in the Home Access Center on Wednesday, August 6 after 4 p.m., but only for those with all residency paperwork completed. The administration noted that all schedule changes were due January 24, 2025. According to their curriculum guide, only level changes—such as moving from an honors course to a regular level—are permitted at this time; no other course or lunch adjustments will be made.
Transportation details will also be posted in the Home Access Center on August 7 for students who have finished registration.
Yearbooks from the previous academic year (2024/2025) can be picked up during Open House on August 8 from 10 a.m. to noon. Yearbook-related questions should be directed to Mrs. Torres at ctorres1@psd202.org.
The first day of school is scheduled for Thursday, August 14.
"We look forward to seeing you soon and enjoy the remainder of the summer!" said PEHS Administration.
