Brandon Leidolph and Nate Sommerfeld, former Plainfield Central High School standouts, played on Sunday, Feb. 23 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Plainfield Central High School standouts Brandon Leidolph and Nate Sommerfeld’s current college team, the North Park Vikings, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Franklin Grizzlies.

The game took place at Center Grove High School. This was their first matchup against the Grizzlies this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium against UIC Flames.
