Danny DiMartino and Ryan Gerdes, former Plainfield North High School standouts, played on Wednesday, March 12 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Wednesday, March 12, former Plainfield North High School standouts Danny DiMartino and Ryan Gerdes’ current college team, the North Central Cardinals, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marietta Pioneers.

The game took place at Don and Sue Schaly Field at Pioneer Park. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Big Red Baseball Field against Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets.
