Danny DiMartino and Ryan Gerdes, former Plainfield North High School standouts, played on Saturday, March 29 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Saturday, March 29, former Plainfield North High School standouts Danny DiMartino and Ryan Gerdes’ current college team, the North Central Cardinals, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Elmhurst Bluejays.

The game took place at Zimmerman Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bluejays this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 5:15 p.m. at Zimmerman Stadium against Augustana College Vikings.
