Kaia Garnica, former Plainfield Central High School standout, played on Friday, March 7 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, March 7, former Plainfield Central High School standout Kaia Garnica’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Buffalo Bulls.

The game took place at Dot Hicks Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulls this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Dot Hicks Field against Loyola Ramblers.
