Friday, Feb. 28: Plainfield Central High School standout Kaia Garnica’s college team wins to Green Bay Phoenix

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Plainfield Central High School standout Kaia Garnica’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:10 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Lindenwood Lions.
