On Friday, Feb. 7, former Plainfield North High School standout Tori Countryman’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Plainfield North High School standout Tori Countryman’s current college team, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

The game took place at St. John Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Chanticleers this season.

The Mastodons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11:05 a.m. at St. John Stadium against Creighton Bluejays.
