Two hundred sixty-seven high school seniors from District 202 have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars for the academic year 2025-26. This accolade is awarded by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and acknowledges students with outstanding academic potential.

The selection criteria for this honor include performance on standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT, and class rank at the conclusion of their sixth semester in high school. ISAC states that these scholars represent approximately the top 10 percent of high school graduates in Illinois.

This year, more than 16,500 students from 685 high schools across Illinois have received this recognition.

The names of the scholars can be found through links to their respective schools: Plainfield High School - Central Campus, Plainfield South High School, Plainfield North High School, and Plainfield East High School.
