Plainfield North High School stages 'The Addams Family' musical
Ross Draper Principal | Plainfield North High School

Plainfield North High School will present the musical comedy "The Addams Family" from March 21 to March 23. The performances are scheduled for Friday at 7:00 pm, Saturday at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

The production is a stage adaptation that brings the eccentric Addams family to life with humor and charm. The plot follows Wednesday Addams, who falls in love with a "normal" boy named Lucas Beineke. As she introduces Lucas and his conservative parents to her unusual family, comedic chaos unfolds. The musical explores themes of love, acceptance, and cultural differences while maintaining the dark humor associated with the Addams family.

Tickets can be reserved online at https://pnhs.seatyourself.biz starting February 3, 2025, at 3 pm until midnight before each performance. Tickets cost $10 for assigned seating and can also be purchased in person with cash or check one hour before showtime in the PNHS lobby.

Potential attendees should note that some material may be considered PG-13 despite being inspired by the television classic. For special needs or inquiries, contact Lori Kraus at lkraus@psd202.org. Plainfield North High School is located at 12005 S. 248th Street in Plainfield.
