Two hundred sixty-seven seniors from District 202 high schools have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars for the academic year 2025-26. This recognition is given by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) to students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential.
The ISAC determines recipients based on their SAT or ACT scores and/or class rank at the end of their sixth semester in high school. High school guidance counselors collaborate with ISAC to identify these scholars.
According to ISAC, the selected students are among the top 10 percent of high school graduates in Illinois. This year, over 16,500 students from 685 high schools across the state received this honor.
The names of scholars can be found through links provided for each participating school: Plainfield High School - Central Campus, Plainfield South High School, Plainfield North High School, and Plainfield East High School.
