High school seniors in District 202 are now eligible to apply for the annual Advanced Placement Summer Institute Financial Bridge Student Scholarship. The scholarship offers $2,500 to current seniors planning to pursue higher education at a college, university, junior college, or trade school.
The application process is accessible online, with submissions due by April 4, 2025. Selection criteria include academic performance, involvement in school and community activities, and financial need.
The scholarship was established in 2021. District 202 has been an Advanced Placement Summer Institute training site since 2008. This initiative has attracted thousands of teachers globally who seek to enhance their skills in teaching AP courses from certified instructors.
AP courses provide high school students the opportunity to earn college credits through advanced coursework.
