High school seniors in District 202 have the opportunity to apply for the Advanced Placement Summer Institute Financial Bridge Student Scholarship. This annual scholarship, valued at $2,500, is available to current seniors who plan to pursue further education at a college, university, junior college, or trade school.
Interested students can submit their applications online. The deadline for submission is April 4, 2025. Selection criteria include academic performance, involvement in school and community activities, and financial need.
Established in 2021, this scholarship aims to support students in their educational pursuits. District 202 has been hosting the Advanced Placement Summer Institute since 2008, providing training for teachers worldwide on how to deliver AP courses effectively.
AP courses offer high school students the chance to earn college credits by taking college-level classes.
