Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 60.6% of Grande Park Elementary School’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 351 white students enrolled in Grande Park Elementary School in the 2022-23 school year, 4.6% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 579 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 60.6% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Oswego Community Unit School District 308 with a central office in Plainfield.

Among the 20 schools in Oswego Community Unit School District 308, Oswego High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 2,866 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
