The District 202 Board of Education has announced that Superintendent Dr. Glenn Wood is currently on leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). During his absence, the board and district administration have implemented a plan to manage all district responsibilities effectively.
Communications directed to Dr. Wood via his district voicemail, email, and US mail are being monitored. These messages will be forwarded to the appropriate administrator for response.
The board assures the community that operations within the district will continue safely and effectively during this period. They also express gratitude for understanding, cooperation, and respecting Dr. Wood's privacy at this time.
"Rest assured, we will ensure that the District continues to operate safely and effectively," stated the District 202 Board of Education in their communication with the community.
Similarly, in a message to Spanish-speaking members of the community, they reiterated: "Tenga la seguridad, que nos aseguraremos de que el Distrito continúe funcionando con seguridad y eficacia."
Both communications emphasize maintaining effective management during Dr. Wood's leave while respecting his privacy.
