Sam Amponsah records 3 tackles in McKendree’s win over Lincoln

On Saturday, September 14, Sam Amponsah, a former standout Plainfield East High School athlete, contributed to the McKendree Bearcats’ 34-to-19 win over the Lincoln Blue Tigers.

Amponsah is a 6’0’ 250-pound Redshirt graduate student and defensive end.

He recorded three tackles, helping the McKendree Bearcats control the Lincoln Blue Tigers offense.

McKendree’s football team is a NCAA DII team that plays in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
