Sam Amponsah records 6 tackles in McKendree’s loss to Quincy

On Saturday, October 5, Sam Amponsah, a former standout Plainfield East High School athlete, saw action in the McKendree Bearcats’ 34-to-10 loss to the Quincy Hawks.

Amponsah is a 6’0’ 250-pound Redshirt graduate student and defensive end.

He recorded six tackles, helping the McKendree Bearcats struggle against the Quincy Hawks offense.

McKendree’s football team is a NCAA DII team that plays in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
